Tofu + sweet peas + french bean porridge


Ingredients: Tofu, sweet peas, french bean, rice



First time trying: Tofu 

Method:
- wash the ingredients clean 
- remove peas from pods 
- cut the ingredients to small chunks 
- put rice in a small pot
- add water to half of the pot
- stove cook for 45 minutes to one hour 
- stir occasionally
- add all the ingredients and continue to boil for another 5-10 minutes before turning off fire 
- once done, put cooked porridge in food processor, blend for smoother consistency. Serve. 

NOTE: Soy is a potential allergen. It is important to apply the four day rule as you introduce this food to your baby and discuss any concerns with your GP or health visitor.


Blueberries + plum puree


Ingredients: Bluberries, plum

Method:
- wash the ingredients thoroughly
- peel the skin of the ingredients
- slice and pit the plum 
- puree in food processor until soft. Serve. 

Try mixing blueberry puree with:
  • Applesauce and cinnamon
  • Pear
  • Peach
  • Banana
  • Full-fat Greek yogurt
  • Baby oatmeal

First food : Peach


Ingredient: Peach

Method:
- wash and peel the peach (wash, boil for a minute and submerge in ice bath before peeling)
- slice and pit the peach
- puree in blender until smooth
- add water to reach desired consistency. Serve. 

Foods Good to Mix With Peaches for Baby Food Meals:
  • Apples
  • Avocado
  • Bananas
  • Blueberries
  • Carrots
  • Butternut or Acorn Squash
  • Sweet Potato
  • Yogurt

Banana + papaya puree


Ingredients: banana, papaya

Method:
- peel banana
- cut papaya to half and scoop out seeds, scoop out the flesh 
- place banana and papaya in a bowl
- use fork to mash. Serve. 

Foods Good to Mix With Papaya for Baby

Blueberry + banana puree


Ingredients: Bluberries, one small banana

First time trying: blueberry

Method: 
- wash blueberries thoroughly
- peel banana, peel blueberries (optional)  
- mash with fork and serve 

How mommy Sheree clean bluberries:
1. Soak in salt water for about 3-5 minutes
2. Rinse and change water
3. Add flour and rub on the surface of bluberries
4. Rinse again. Pat dry and ready to serve.

First food : Yam


Ingredients: Small yam

Method:
- wash thoroughly 
- peel the skin and dice to chunks
- steam for 15 minutes or until soft
- puree in blender. Serve. 

Remark: Baby Julius didn't like yam puree at all 😣, can try mixing it with pumpkin/sweet potato

Swede + carrot + parsnip puree


Ingredients: Swede, carrot, parsnip

First time trying: Swede

Method: 
- wash the ingredients thoroughly
- peel the skin
- dice until chunks 
- steam for 10 minutes or until tender
- puree in food processor. Serve. 

First food : Papaya


Ingredient: 1/4 small sized papaya
  
Method: 
- no cook recipe
- wash the papaya with a mixture of three parts water and one part white vinegar to remove bacteria
- rinse and dry
- cut half and remove the seeds 
- scoop out the flesh with a spoon
- puree papaya in food processor until smooth, or mash with fork 
- add water as needed to reach desired consistency. Serve.
