Ingredient: Beetroot
Method:
- rinse the beers in cold water
- peel the skin
- dice into small pieces
- steam the beet for 10-15 minutes (⚠️Do not reserve any left over water to use for thinning out the beets as Nitrates may seep into the cooking water)
- puree cooked beet in a food processor or blender until smooth. Serve.

- Apples
- White Potato
- Peas
- Summer Squash – zucchini or yellow/crooked necked
- Brown Rice
- Lentils
- Chicken
- Pork
- Tofu – beets turn tofu a wonderful purple color.
